Trip 6: Kerry

April 19-April 21. First up, I know. There is no post for trip 5, it's no mistake. The day we were meant to go to Glendalough, we ended up having to reschedule due to heavy rain. The trip was rescheduled, but I had class that day. For everyone in the same situation as I was, we were given the choice to go on the trip or attend class. I ended up choosing class, knowing I would have to miss the next class for this next trip. I have been to Glendalough with family a few times though, it is quite stunning. This weekend, we went to County Kerry. This is one of my top favorite places we have visited. We got a hostel in Dingle. It was quite a long drive, but absolutely worth it. On day one, we explored Killarney. There was a beautiful garden outside of Muckross house. Afterwards, we went to Torc Waterfall. On the 20th, we explored the Dingle Peninsula. This was my #1 day by far. For those that come to Ireland for the nature, this was the best pick. We even got to see where they filmed some of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. My nerd heart was definitely happy. Extra bonus, we held baby lambs :). The last day was spent in Cashel. This was our final excursion. I am admittedly quite sad to realize we were done. But, we have a little under a month left to explore.
