January 19, 2024 We had our first trip to Dublin today! Our guide, Elaine, guided us around the city. We started the day at Trinity College, where we looked at the Book of Kells (which I was not able to photograph) and The Long Room, which was my personal favorite. It was an absolute book lovers dream. Next up, Elaine showed us around the city center and gave us the rundown on all the popular places, Grafton St. being an honorable mention. I was able to jot down a few highlights. She then lead us to the Christ Church Cathedral, where we got the opportunity to see the stunning church. After our tours were wrapped up, Elaine cut us loose and we were free to run off and explore Dublin as we wished. A couple of my friends walked around town until we were all too tired to go on. At around 19:00, I hopped on a bus and rode down to see my Aunt who lives right on the outskirts. It was such an exciting day and I cannot wait to branch out further across the country!
